Great value. Easy installation

Got this to replace an earlier, similar GE model that died after 15+ years. Super easy installation and excellent set of features and look for the price.

DEFECTIVE FRONT PANEL

Unhappy with product in that plastic sheet covering control panel has split and started to peel off. I want a replacement oven

Hi Neurobeaver649 - Thanks so much for doing business with us! Many of our microwaves are now packed with a plastic film applied to the outside of the door and control panel. This is similar to the film that would cover chrome trim parts to prevent scratching during shipping and is used for the same reason on the microwave. We recommend removing the film before using the microwave. This is a static cling film that should peel off easily. We hope this information is helpful to you. - Sharon@GEA

Great Microwave for the price!

This microwave looks great, and works great. Reheats food quickly. Defrost settings work great, and it's easy to clean. The vent fan works great, as does the light, and I love the mute setting! Great microwave for the price!

Works very well

This GE microwave works very well heating foods and liquids as expected. I did not give it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. The fan is quite loud and should have 3 speeds instead of 2; not an expensive addition for this GE line. Venting inside the kitchen is directed straight above the top of the front of the unit which can cause moisture to hit the front of cabinetry above the unit. The molded plastic vent is not moveable and should be manufactured in a way that angles towards the front to force vented air and moisture forward-away from cabinets.

Shuts off while cooking

Shuts off all the time during cooking, its noisy and the vent doesn't suck well enough

It looks simple and sleek. I wish the surface light was brighter, but maybe that is a matter of a different bulb. It's a microwave... and it does what I need it to!
