I bought this microwave oven last week and installed it yesterday replacing a previous GE microwave oven that came with the house. I love the slate color - blends in nicely with black GE appliances. No fingerprints after touching slate surface! Light weight and easy to install using previous bracket and cabinet holes. Direction for installing charcoal filter say to remove 3 screws and pull out cover. However you must slide cover slightly to the left and then pull out! Not doing so could result in broken plastic! Operation wise - I really like it!

My old microwave died so I needed a new one fast. I'm so glad I found this One. It's even better than the my old one..which I loved. I wasn't sure about the slate color since I have black appliances but it looks great with them. I love the one touch cook buttons which I use all the time.

I bought this microwave to replace the one that came with my home. It was as close as I could get to a direct replacement. My first one died after four years, so I hope this one will last longer. So far it meets all of my expectations.

While there aren't a lot of functions for a Microwave this one stands out because of the slate finish. As with my other new GE appliances I couldn't be happier. Fingerprints are not an issue on the model and this appliance is probably used more often each day than other appliances (except for fridge) and it just doesn't get messy. GE thought of everything on this microwave.
