My first GE microwave died. Salesman said they didn't make it anymore, but this was their replacement model. The numbers are too small and don't light up at night. The door is loud and sounds cheap when you open and lose. I am sorry I bought it. However, it was easy to install since my old one was also a GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave has just the right amount of features to make it an ideal over the range unit for our family. We love the slate color, and the range light. Also like the ability to direct the vent feature to multiple locations. We recommend this microwave to others, and hopefully it will be the last one we ever need!

Plastic keypad is so scratched that it looks older than my last microwave than was 10 years old. I am very careful not to use abrasives on my appliances. We moved in to this brand new home 6 weeks ago. Tonight I was preparing two frozen meals. My husbands
meal required 4 minutes and worked great. I then put my dinner in for 4 minutes. The oven SOUNDS and appears to be working fine but it does not heat at all. We tried 4 minutes at full power 5 more times. Nothing, still ice. We went through the troubleshooting but nothing. No heat whatsoever. I am hoping you can replace the keypad cover and also repair the appliance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like how well it cooks with lots of features to use. I don’t care for how precise and/or hard you have to press buttons for it to respond though.

This microwave is extremely noisy and does not even come close to the one I had prior. I paid more attention to purchasing my other appliances so it is my fault. I should have bought an upgraded model. I loved my last several GE microwaves. If I had to do it over again, I would get a better model.

We replaced our old GE Spacemaker with this new microwave that matches our new GE Profile appliances. It operates well and is simple to use like our old GE microwave. Love it so far!
