We are pleased that it is not noisy. Sensor cooking is a really neat feature, this microwave is exactly what was advertised.

Just purchased this unit. First one was horribly noisy. After waiting a week for the GE tech, we were told it had bad tube. Waited another week for the replacement. This one is much better. Very quiet when cooking. Really like the sensor cooking feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the way it looks. I have noticed that it is pretty loud. Its not as user friendly as I like.

Hello! We bet this microwave looks wonderful in your kitchen! We are sorry to hear about the trouble getting used to the controls. It would be a pleasure to help with some tips. The model does have sensor controls so we recommend using them whenever possible by just selecting the food item you are heating so the microwave will take care of the rest.
Our other favorite feature is the "Add 30 Seconds" button. It's a very convenient way to add a little more time! Let us know if you have any questions!

Just what we wanted

We've been married for 44 years, had an old counter top microwave and then an over the range model. Neither of these had a turn table. My wife felt the turntable would get in the way of placing multiple dishes. This microwave has two features that set my wife's mind at ease. 1st and foremost it has a recessed turntable which has the turntable sit almost flush with the floor of the microwave. 2nd there is a button that allows us to turn off the turntablewhen we desire. These two small features made our 1.7 cu ft stand out above the others.
The humidity sensor seems nice
A friend says it works great! The oven was easy to install and we were up and running in about 1/2 hour, from removal of old oven to finish of installation of new oven.
We look forward to trying other features over the next few weeks.
