This is my second purchase of same microwave. Over stovetop, initial GE microwave lasted 18 years. The same model purchased to replace it lasted 3 months before requiring repair by GE. It then lasted 2 years and 3 months, out of warranty now. Have just purchased a third of the same model with hopes it does as well as my first. Hoping the second microwave was simply a fluke. It is a bit loud when running, has all the handy features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased this unit to replace an older Black GE microwave during a kitchen remodel. The old unit still works fine but the new unit is much more attractive and finds in with our other stainless appliances. Installation was fairly easy and the works very well as expected and looks great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After a couple weeks using this microwave I am very satisfied. It has easy to use buttons and i like the quick plate controls. The re-heat plate option works great.

Updated our previous microwave to match our new range. Immediately noticed the increased power. Love the quick shortcuts, press the 5 to cook for 5 minutes and the add 30 second button. Easy to learn, not too complicated.
We noted that the new microwaves are deeper. We plan to get new cabinets which are also deeper.

Only complaint, the over range light is dull. I would prefer a brighter light over the range.
