Average look. The door seems a little cheap and doesn't have much to it. It came with no information booklet on the ins and outs of the appliance. In other words, I just have to figure out on my mine how to work it. I don't care for the big open openings on top it. Which could allow items to fall through them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is a good basic Microwave. But we feel that the new GE products have lost quality from the GE products we had.

GE has always been a name I could trust on appliances. While remodeling our kitchen, we picked this microwave and are happy we did. Looks good and works even better!

Just OK

I’d probably really like this microwave if it hadn’t replaced a 7 year old GE unit that had better build quality. It does work OK, but is far noisier than the old unit. The display is a bright white that lights up the kitchen at night. Why the change from the subtle green display of my other GE appliances? There are 5 express cook buttons instead of 6 that the old unit had. The turntable is not recessed as claimed. It’s at least 1/2 inch higher than the highest part of the floor of the unit and more than 1 inch higher than the lowest part of the floor. Although it’s a bit of a disappointment, it is working as advertised. Hope it lasts as long as its predecessor.
