I just got the new microwave a few days ago and I'm very happy with how it looks and fits over the range. It is user friendly and looks great. Overall functions very similar to the old one but the larger brighter time display is different and I really like that

We purchased this microwave in June of 2018. It is now running with the door open and heating foods to an incredibly hot temperature in mere seconds. It's an absolute hazard. We will never buy a GE appliance again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installation was fairly easy. Directions and templates were good. Unit looks nice over matching GE stove. Entire family found it easy to operate.
One concern is the durability of the buttons and door latch.

The GE JVM6175DKWW is compact for smaller living spaces at 1.7 cu. ft. yet large enough for an average family’s microwaving needs. It has the standard features and a few extra including the ability to use the turntable or not and mute the sound. The muting is handy because the microwave is somewhat loud. Otherwise, I would recommend the model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the microwave you want. Does it all and great price. What kills you is it delivery price and install and the removal. Same price as the microwave. A drag.

Great instructions and was very easy to install. The brackets and bolt holes lined right up with the older model we replaced.

I like the unit itself and what it does. But the fan is very loud. Louder than the old one and it was 15yrs old so I expected better.
