Attractive and Functional

This Microwave has all the features of our old outdated Maytag with none of the bugs. I'm happy to return to tried and true GE appliances in my kitchen. The entry pad of the unit is intuitive and easy to understand -- easy to use without having to learn all new features. We won't be using the WiFi features, in all honesty, I can't figure out why you'd want to use a kitchen appliance while you're not home let alone not in the kitchen, but GE makes it easy to opt out of those features you don't want by simply not opting in.
I love the limited selection of automatic settings ("beverage" is a big hit around here!) and the quiet, effective exhaust fan is a pleasure. We can now converse in the kitchen while someone is cooking without having to scream over the horrendous noise of the previous Maytag unit. Thank you, GE!

Very noisy

I ordered a whole package of the 4 GE appliances. They did not have the microwave in the store so I did not get to try it. It is much louder than my older GE microwave and its hard to keep clean on the outside, I feel like Im constantly wiping the handle and control panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re very happy with our new GE microwave! It’s very similar to our old one which was still in working condition but we’re upgrading all of our appliances to stainless/fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The features are great, simplifying reheating and cooking everything!!! Love the “Melt” feature! The installation footprint wasn’t the same as our old GE which made it more difficult to install but overall it was worth it. The look of this microwave is beautiful and matches our beautiful GE range. Highly recommend this unit!
