Some clunky features

One cannot make a "go" list or select songs to build a new playlist. The power feature is a bit clunky to use, i.e., one needs to pause a song and then press the option button to turn off the device. However, for an MP3 player with decent sound that costs a bit more than a Sansa player, this is a good unit.

Not as good as my last 4Gb walkman

I purchase model # NW-E393 from best buy in store with a home delivery 10/17. I replace a 4 gb walkman that had the 8 gb features. BOY ,was i disappointed. First the volume control is on the side of the device. It makes it hard to adjust when it is an arm band.Second, i cant load playlist!! It already had songs in a folder when i purchase it. I will be calling best buy hoping to return it for another one..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this item back in 2012, I was only 9 at the time. I had just won $100 at the circus and all I wanted was an mp3. This was what I ended up with, at the end of the day I didn't care what brand it was, as long as it played music I was happy. It is now 2019, and Still to this day it's held up all these years. I'm still using it everyday, I prefer this over storing music on my phone haha. Also, this has radio so its a win. 100% recommend this to anyone looking to purchase these days.

Classic Name with Today's Interface

While searching online for a replacement for my old MP3 player, I happened upon a name from the past. This Walkman is sleek looking and has intuitive operation. I have music stored on three platforms, Windows XP, 7, and 8.1, and found the initial setup on all to be worry free. I found the transfer to the Walkman to be easier than most. The player operation is worry free with various options.
I discovered what I had been missing once I turned on the Walkman. I found the clarity of the sound on the same songs far superior to my old player. This has to be the best purchase of a MP3 player I have made and I have recommended to all that I know.

has great sound quilty

this is the third sony MP3 player I have purchased I have been well pleased with the sound the over all size of these units is great easy to carry operate the sound along with my Bose headphones is awesome playing it through my Denon system is also a great plus keep up the good workmanship , very happy with this unit it does out of the three owned have in my opinion the best over all sound ,
