Almost perfect

This is a great option to using a more expensive Apple product for music or audiobooks. Drag and drop loading of media works fairly well. The only design flaw is the klutzy way it must be turned on each time. Unlike the Apple products, two buttons must be used and the time from "sleep" or "off" is about ten seconds, which is a shame. Hopefully, Sony will upgrade the software to allow faster/easier start-up. Otherwise, battery life is very good and it's easy to pocket due to the small size.

This Sony Walkman is a great product. I had an iPod Touch but got rid of it because I had numerous problems with iTunes. Then I bought a Sansa Clip+. I didn't like it because it would freeze or shut off abruptly for no apparent reason, and it was difficult to transfer music from my laptop to the Sansa.
With this Sony Walkman it was easy to transfer my songs from my laptop computer to the Walkman. In addition, it's user friendly, and the sound quality is good. Maybe it's obvious to people who have previously owned Sony Walkmans or iPod Nanos. Nevertheless, the only problem I had with it was I had trouble figuring out how to turn the volume up or down. I couldn't find it in the owner's manual either. It took a little bit of button pushing for me to figure it out that it was the top and bottom arrow keys on the wheel. Duh! Other than that, I'm very happy with the product.

Sony Better than Ever ...

The Walkman has helped to entertain me from the early days as a cassette then the cd, however the MP-3 is THE BEST PURCHASE EVER! Transfers from my computer are effortless and hours of music now is @ my fingertip, Wow!

I Would like to get it to work

Looks like it will do everything I hoped it would do, but putting music into it (and that's all I bought it for) has caused me no end of frustration. To try to print the instruction guide is 150+ pages, lots of ink and trees!

I first purchased the NWZ-E384 then I purchased the NWZ-S755 for work. I work in a extremely loud environment & the E384 by far out performs the S755 which I am NOT happy with at all. I'm searching for a way to increase the sound limit on the S755 with NO success! The E384 is the better of the two units! I gave the E384 3 stars because the sound could also be increased on it as well. I don't use ear buds I use a AUQAOHONICS AQ11 speaker which is the BEST!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

5 years+ and still going!

I got this as a birthday gift at least 5 years ago. I was driving a lot and would not always be in "radio" areas, or people were sleeping and radios were not usable. I still haven't filled it, but it continues to "rock"!
