Great in wall/cabinet oven

Was a little nervous as Ive always had traditional standup and out ovens, but this has made me a believer in change! The oven works just as good as a traditional oven with plenty of options for cooking. My only grip and really why I didn't give it 5 stars was my life really wanted the cooking timer to count down in seconds not just the last 59 secs.

GE convection oven

I love the look, energy efficient, easy clean and friendly use. Only one thing, the rack on the side was not right that I can't use the slide rack. both side was the same, it suppose to oposite. But its smaller the normal ranges so it work out fine with the manual pull out racks.

Works well, when you figure it out

We purchased this product as part of a kitchen remodel. We were planning to continue to use other GE Profile products after the remodel, so decided to go with this unit to be consistent. The unit seems to perform fine when we can figure out how to use it. Unfortunately, the users' manual is minimalistic to the extreme and, in my opinion, almost useless. It describes the control panel, pointing out the location of the various touch icons, which is unnecessary because they're already marked on the panel. What it doesn't do is describe the sequence of how to use the various icons to get the unit to do what you want it to do. For example, if you to start baking at one temperature and then change to another temperature, there seems to be no way to just change the temperature. You actually have to shut it off and then turn it back on again using the new temperature (at least, we think that's what you have to do). We also had an issue with the unit not heating up when we first tried to cook a turkey. It would turn on, it just wouldn't heat up. My wife thought there was something wrong with the power or electronics. After some investigation and experimentation, I found that the problem was actually that re-arranging the racks to accommodate the large item caused one rack to prevent another rack from being pushed all the way to the back of the unit. This prevented the door from closing all the way, which prevented the unit from heating up. This possibility was not mentioned at all in the instructions, troubleshooting, etc. Once we've been able to sort our way through such things, the unit has operated fine.

I LOVE the slide out glides for the racks.

I love the fact that the racks are porcelain coated! They look so much nicer and you do not have to take them out when doing the self clean function. I really LOVE the look of the outside! So sleek and modern, and the feature buttons are almost invisible, giving it a very contemporary style.
