Nice basic oven

I cook for two 95% of the time, and work long hours - cooking is not my priority - I don't need a double oven, or an oven with too many features I won't use. This oven is perfect for my lifestyle. Someday I may try the Convection feature. The only issue I've had is that the oven door does not always shut tightly/completely - which if the oven senses the door is not tightly shut, the oven turns off. I always give an extra push to be sure the oven door is closed tightly. I also had trouble figuring out how to use the oven timer - I didn't think it was intuitive (i.e. it doesn't work like the 'matching' microwave timer.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convection in the only way to go if you bake especially pastry dishes.

My Second GE Profile

My first GE Profile last 17 years. It still worked beautifully and actually warmed up a lot faster than this new model. But I love the new model with the sliding oven racks and pretty exterior.

Bought for the convection feature and still learning to use but overall cooks great! Takes a bit longer to warm up but holds temps perfectly.
