Very sensitive Oven

The board on this oven is very sensitive, for example, if you get close to the board it may turn something on. For example, one morning I woke up and found that my oven cleaner was on and I didn't turn it on since it was new and didn't need it. I had it replaced and so far it is working ok. However, last night I was baking cupcakes and I took out one pan using the sliding grates inside the oven. I put another pan of cupcakes in and it wouldn't turn on. I messed with it for several minutes and realized that the oven door wasn't completely closed. I looked inside and one of the grates inside wasn't all the way in. It didn't tell me anything but when I pushed the grate in all the way, it turned on. If it's going to be that sensitive, I suggest that something appears on the door that tells you the grate isn't all the way in. GE is a good product and has great customer service but this problem needs to be fixed or modified. I would normally recommend this product, but until this is fixed, I wouldn't buy it again. (All my applicances are GE and I enjoy them all except for this problem.

Love this new oven. Only con is the top rack, kind of gets in the way, and wish it was just removable like the other 2. have used both convection and regular for baking. Love that I don't have to remove the racks to clean!

Bought this stainless steel model to replace older GE model- and it's awesome! The convection oven cooks so evenly. It's so nice to have that as an option!

So far so good. Bought this oven when my 30 year old oven died. I am in the hospitality industry so cooking/baking are important to me. I love the convection features. Bakes at true temps. Not crazy about the fan that stays on long after you turn the oven off so I kick the door open a tad so it cools down faster.
I would recommend this to a friend!
