the design is very functional. the interior is larger than previous oven yet fits in the same space. i'm a bread maker so the proofing mode is excellent! overall just a great product.

self clean bites the dust on first use

We love everything about it except the latch for the door was defective right from the start, when wife tried cleaning oven it malfunctioned and I had to knock the breaker at the panel and wait several days till the service tech. could get to us.

We purchased this wall oven for our new home. We moved in Dec 2015. We have had a repair person out more than once. It was finally fixed on 16 Feb 2016. We cannot understand why a new appliance would not work properly at least for the first year without requiring maintenance before it can be used for the first time by the homeowner. I am disappointed in GE quality. I thought buy American meant something!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Oven

I have owned numerous GE appliances in the past and this oven is a welcome addition to my kitchen. I particularly like the temperature probe, proofing, and steam cleaning features. The owners manual is much easier to navigate than other brands. After making the mistake of buying another brand and having problems, I will definitely stick with the GE Profile!

Incredible features

We needed a new oven. The fact that this one came in white was important to my wife. Then when I studied the features, I was impressed. Much better broiling element for more even cooking. Excellent temperature control, and a probe for monitoring the temperature of the food being cooked. The convection feature offers better cooking options.
