My first wall oven--never going back!

I have back issues, so when remodeling the kitchen I decided on a wall oven. LOVE IT!!! It's so nice to see straight into the oven, and to not have to bend with a heavy try of meat or bread. This oven is a nice fit for our new white kitchen. I like how easy it is to operate. CONs: Either the meat probe doesn't work right, or I don't know how to use it correctly. I used it only once and the meat was too well done when it reached the "correct" temp. I need to try again. Also I tried the steam cleaning, and that didn't work well either. I'm willing to say these could be my fault. Just need to practice. My husband DOES NOT like all the "singing" notifications: it has one beep pattern when you turn it on, another when it reaches the desired temp, and another when you turn lights on and off, etc. He wants to turn them all off, but I haven't let him yet. It makes me laugh to hear a fanfare when the desired temp is reached. ;) PROs: Wall oven!! (No bending.) Nice convection. I still need to turn food, though, especially baked items. Heating speed average, not too slow, but not real fast. The racks are very sturdy and well-built. I really like the heavy slide-out rack. It's a wonderful large size. My previous oven (convection as well) had the fan built into the back of the oven which used up too much space.

I like everything about my oven to date except the oven timer. It is not intuitive to use and I use the one on my microwave instead. I probably need to review the booklet:)

Lots of flexibility on how you want to cook.

Been using for only a couple of weeks but I've done a lot of cooking with it. I've tried several different functions and they all work well. The fan motor is very quiet which is one of the reasons I bought it. Looks great.

I use the convection and probe. My previous oven sounded (not a GE) sounded like a wind tunnel when cooling down, but this model is QUIET.
