Right on temperatures ....

i bought this oven along with the GE electric, glass cook top ..... both of these appliances have proven to be outstanding. I had never cooked with electricity before and it has been wonderful. The oven temperatures are exact and have been great with new recipes I've been trying ... overall, I am 100% happy with these purchases.

GE has made improvements with the new Profile

GE has made improvement in that air is vented through the bottom of the door instead of the top of the door in their previous model. The old design caused problems with the electrical control panel when performing a self cleaning function.

Very pleased. So far all the features do what they are supposed to do and baking and cooking has been reliable. Easy to use and lighting and stove window makes viewing extremely easy.

Have had this unit for about a month, and we are very pleased with it. The controls are clear, and the lighting inside the oven is excellent. The pre-heat time seems a bit slow. I measured 13 minutes. Is that because the oven is being more careful than older ones were to make sure that it is fully and evenly pre-heated? I don't know. A nice feature is that during pre-heat you can read the current temperature, allowing us to sometimes judge that it is ok to start the cooking a little before pre-heating has finished.

Love Porcelain Interior and Racks

Replaced my 20 year old GE Profile Oven because the cleaning function no longer worked. Love this new oven! It has three racks and I can cook on so many levels that I look forward to cooking with my oven again and again. It offers me the ability to bake traditionally and with convection heating. I have had the unit since October and really like the way that it evenly cooks the food and is easy to clean up after cooking. I would definitely recommend the unit to my friends and family.
