Broiler Issues

We purchased this unit for a new build home in 2014. I absolutely love the looks of it. The broiler unit went out approximately two years ago and we had it repaired since it was no longer under warranty. At the time the technician told us that the self clean option had probably caused the electrical panel to go out because of the heat. We figured this was just a fluke and decided to repair it because the appliance came with all of the features and theoretically they should all be compatible. Well, we were wrong. I ran the self clean again and broiler unit quit again. This is very disappointing on an appliance as costly as this one. I hope GE is working on this problem.

Something is not correct with the clock. Within a day of setting the time it falls behind a half hour.

As a new oven take a long time to reach desired temperature.

Won't heat up

I have had this product less than 3 years. It probably started not heating up correctly within the first year but I had another oven so I started using that oven more. Sometimes it would heat up in a reasonable time, but now it takes forever. I tried to heat it to 350 today and it took over 40 minutes to heat to 320 so I just gave up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice oven

Every feature of this oven is working perfectly. We really enjoy using this device. The racks are a bit clunky and difficult to manage would be my only complaint. Otherwise, it is a nice appliance.
