Slick and Eficient Oven

My original GE oven (installed in mid 60s) finally quit - three days before Thanksgiving. I required the 27inch model because the oven is in a brick wall. I was so happy to find one at a local supply house (that size usually must be ordered) and it was installed today (day before Turkey Day). Heated up some snacks this evening and will proceed with the big dinner in the morning. Always rely on GE appliances.

Excellent selection

We waited 25 years to replace our original oven. The technology has clearly gotten better over time. We have found it easy to adapt to, operations are easy, and the results are super. Probably should have done this sooner.

Awful Oven

within warranty period, after using the self cleaning feature, the enamel in the oven cracked. GE refuses to any remedy because the say the interior enamel is cosmetic. Enamel in ovens is not cosmetic, it reflect heat according to research on the internet. GE is a horrible company making inferior products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your concern and giving us a chance to help! Fine, hairline scratches or lines may appear on the enameled surfaces of the self-cleaning oven. These may look like very fine cracks. This is a common condition, resulting from heating and cooling during cleaning. These lines do not affect oven performance. I Love These Ovens!

The unit is very attractive and modern. It works perfectly. The cooling fans (for the electronics and ovens) that I heard were so noisy are nothing more than a little, faint purr. Very easy to operate. The instructions for smartphone control are very easy to understand and operate. I highly recommend this oven unit. No regrets.

Great Update for Older GE Profile Wall Oven

We replaced our old GE Profile wall oven and microwave units with this double oven unit. Install was easy, unit looks and works great. Convection cooking is a learning process for us, but we are very happy so far.

Nice Oven

Just starting to use the oven. Overall we are very pleased. I miss the built in meat thermometer/probe GE has included in the past with its ovens. The only issue we are working out is the calibration of the oven cooking temperatures, which are adjustable + or – 35 degrees.

Great replacement for seventeen year old unit

Bought in January 2014. Kitchen configuration made the 27" ovens our only option. Inside dimensions much roomier than old GE oven. Still learning to cook in the upper convection unit.
