This is my second GE Profile double oven. The first one worked 17 years, and we actually could have fixed it but screwed up. Just received this model a few days ago, and so happy with it so far.

Just installed two days ago. A breeze to operate. We especially liked the fact that the face was glass versus metal or plastic; that the racks can remain inside during self-cleaning; that there are two separate sets of controls--one for each oven; and especially that it is so quiet during the operation and cooling off periods. Last range we had from a competitor was very noisy during both operation and shutdown.

Good oven

I've had this oven for 4 months now and feel that it has met all of my expectations. It bakes evenly in both ovens, with the convection option offering even more flexibility. I love having the options in the upper oven like "warm", "low broil" and "roast convection". The only issue I have had is minor - when you go to set a temperature, you have to be sure to press "Start" or else it won't start preheating, and it doesn't prompt you if you've started to set a temperature and missed this step (but will beep at you if you leave the door open for longer than 5 seconds). But that is really a very minor issue compared to how well this product operates overall.

Read numerous reviews prior to purchase. Happy with my purchase. Temperature accurate (baking done on time). They are quiet and look great. Agree with the comment about light switch lighting both ovens (why).

So I love everything about this except two little things.... 1. the oven lights aren't separate (all on / all off). And when I was sold this they showed a little light that showed how far it was to the preheat completion.
I would recommend this to a friend!
