The description stated that it had the easy glide shelves where as one one on the bottom of the lower oven actually is that kind of shelf.
I do like that they can stay in for cleaning but now most of the shelves are very hard to slide.

I am disappointed that the top oven does my hold the set temperature. It cannot be programmed to come on at a future time and turn off after a set time. My old fridgaredire oven had this feature and I used it a lot. The steam cleaning feature does not appear to function well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The actual control panel functions differ from their description in the operating instructions, so you're going to do some experimenting with the temp/time controls. It takes a while to get up to temperature, say 25 minutes to hit 375, so give it plenty of time to warm up. You will need to buy broiler pans and an additional roll-out rack. It has a fan that exhausts warm air under the unit, so think about that heat source in your kitchen, It links to the internet via WiFi, it needed to be reconnected so often that I disabled it. (Parenthetically) GE monitors the unit's operation, for marketing maintenance, and surveillance; they probably know more about your cookies, chocolate chip and digital, than you do. And they can change the operational controls; you'll be the last to know. I'd like it better if the Temp display showed the oven temp in real time, instead of the setpoint. When you open the door, the alert sounds and I'd expect to see the oven temp start to fall, and the elements kick in to maintain the setpoint, but that doesn't happen. Then closing the door the oven displays the new temp and starts to work back to the setpoint, just a preference. A seperate upper and lower light would be nice.
I bought it to match my Profile microwave and gas cooktop; they are a striking combination.

GE logo in the middle of the oven door is large and offensive. Touch control panel is too sensitive when cleaning and activates settings. Interior is too small for a turkey.

The fan that runs when the oven is on and until it cools is very quiet. In reviews I had read of other ovens, the fan noise was objectionable. It does take longer to heat to temperature than my old oven, but this is consistant with other brands.
