It bakes very evenly. The low profile of the doors is very stylish and the high quality stainless steel really brighten up our kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect fit

Replaced old GE double oven and love how it fits perfectly with no cabinet work needed. Looks beautiful and works great. When cooling down it blows pretty strongly creating a hit of a draft in front of the unit which took some getting used to

Very easy to use

I just had it installed today and the first thing I did was make my famous chocolate chip cookies. It was so nice to have things bake evenly again. The double oven it replaced was a 30 year old GE double oven that was having temperature problems. If I had it for 30 years, its the reason I went with GE again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointed...

We bought this oven to replace an 18-year-old GE Profile that we enjoyed until the day it died. We went with another GE Profile oven after having such a great experience with the last one.
Overall, we are disappointed with the new oven. It has some nice improvements:
* Greatly improved lighting
* Roller racks
* Internet Connectivity to the iPhone app for remote notification and some control of the oven. This has proven to be a very useful feature...
However, the negatives have outweighed the improvements compared to our last GE Profile.
* Build quality of the oven is not as good as our old oven. The door hinges feel list sturdy. The lower door does not have a uniform gap around it when closed.
* The control panel buttons are temperamental. We frequently find that despite setting the timer, somehow it gets "unset" and has to be set again. Adjacent buttons sometimes register false presses if you don't press the desired button exactly in the middle.
* The oven takes significantly longer to heat up. Our old oven would heat from 0 to 350 in approximately 10 minutes. The new oven takes more like 20 minutes to reach the same temperature. Higher temperatures like 425 or 450 can take up to 30 minutes to reach.
* The oven takes longer to cook at the same displayed temperature. With our old oven, convection mode cooked things faster. With the new oven, whether in convection bake or regular bake, things take significantly longer to cook. Things we used to cook at 350, we now cook at 375 to have them finished cooking in the same period of time. And, they aren't over cooked at the higher temperature. It seems like the oven is cooking at a lower temperature than what is displayed on the control panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice kitchen compliment. Excellent Oven!

Had this model installed as replacement for older oven. We went with all GE Appliances in Kitchen remodel. Oven has performed well. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. The WiFi remote is useful. We recently went on a short errand with something cooking. As it turned out our short errand took longer than expected. I was able to access the oven controls from my mobile phone and turn the oven off, without having to travel back home. Didn't think I would ever need the function but when I did it saved a lot of time.
