Roomy Ovens

We bought this on-line a in the spring and only installed it in the kitchen about a month ago. The interior is much larger than our old GE double oven. We have some cookie pans we were unable to use until now. It was easy to install by ourselves. We have used it several times and like the results. Everything comes out evenly cooked and looking good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice double oven

Pros:
- Large interior for the size of the oven.
- Works with my old house 30A wiring.
- Good looking, nice controls, nice display (no blue thank you)
Cons:
- Very slow to pre-heat. Like as much as 15 minutes. Either oven.
- Only one oven is convection.
- Convection fan is loud, and wasn't working when the oven was installed. I had to give it a push with a chopstick to get it started, but it has been working since.
- Large interior for the size of the oven.
- Works with my old house 30A wiring.

Biggest issue is the timer. You can't do things like 5 1/2 minutes with the timer. It only does whole minutes. So you often aren't sure the timer is working. Otherwise we've had no issues with it. A little slow on heating up.

Great Ovens!

Replaced our original 23 year old ovens with these. We have always been a fan of GE and these do not disappoint. The only thing I don't like are the racks which have a lip on the front edge which makes taking things out tricky.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement for same model - 25 year old!

27 inch Profile double oven installed 4 days ago. Have made 2 pies, one tart, and one roast, cooked to perfection using convection. The great interior lighting cuts down on door opening. See photos below to see how clearly you can see. Do not like the racks as they are very hard to slide in and out. Am scheduling a repair to see what can be done. Wish there was more than 1 roller rack. Can I purchase another? Also do not understand how to decrease oven temperature without canceling and starting all over. Oven looks good and cooks well. Would be 5 stars if the racks were better and I could decrease temperature as easily as I could in my 25 year old Profile double ovens. I do think these ovens have a slightly larger interior capacity than my old ones, despite the fact that it slid right into the cabinetry with no cutting required.
