Takes forever to preheat.. having to wait 20 - 25 minutes to preheat is very inconvenient

Great perferformer with some drawbacks

The oven performs great. Heats fast and cooks evenly. Exactly what you would expect with a high-end GE. The pull out bottom shelf is a very nice feature. The downside is that the new ovens vent into the kitchen. So an hour into meal prep, it's hard to be in the room. Upon research, it seems that most of the new ovens do this. I wish there was an option to reverse the vent to the rear and pipe it outside. The Wifi feature has come in handy many times. The drawback is that you have to press a button on the control panel to enable the wifi. That wouldn't be a big deal except is automatically turns off every time you use the oven. So if you forget to "re-enable" the wife every time, then you can't use the app to control the oven. Several times I've been on the way home and wanting to pre-heat the oven only to realize that the last person that used it did not enable the wifi. Sort of a pain. I don't understand why it can't be active all the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Takes too long to preheat

I recently bought this oven and am unhappy re: how long it takes to preheat. Around 20 mins. to get to 350 is not acceptable. The remote start is a nice feature, but you must remember to activate it every time you use the oven. I also found it odd that the oven arrived "empty". Our contractor had to install the mounting brackets as well as the shelves and he said he had never seen this before. I haven't used the cleaning feature so I can't comment on that. This oven replaced a GE built in oven purchased 38 years ago that was still functional! I certainly doubt this oven will last anywhere near as long. The old oven didn't self clean anymore but still did fine baking!

Not bad but could be better

I bought this without doing enough research. I had a Monogram that was 25 years old and didn't realize the significant difference in added features when I replaced with the Profile. Wish I had spent the extra $$ and kept the Monogram.

I bought this 3 days ago and had it installed. It looks great and I was looking forward to all the features, but unfortunately the top oven doesn't work. I hope others have enjoyed their new, stylish oven and that it has worked for them!

Takes longer to pre-heat than my older GE Profile oven.
Feel much heat coming out of lower oven - like a fan - when using this oven for cooking. Feel the heat every time you walk past the oven. Very noticeable.

Love my new ovens

I replaced 39 year old GE ovens, even though they still worked I am loving the new ovens and updated features.
