Slow to preheat

We like everything about the ovens but disappointed on how long it takes to preheat. Takes 15 minutes to get to 400 when it will Only take 8 min to bake the cookies.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product, but I need some direction

This double oven is really nice. It has a bunch of great features but some I haven't figured because of the lack of documentation. The timer is totally different from our previous GE oven. I haven't figured out the delay yet. The convection piece is nice, but I'm not totally sure how or when to use it. It seems to take a lot longer to warm up than our previous model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This oven had a major failure after only 18 months

We had is oven installed in May of last year. It is currently completely inoperable and will only display a f97 code. To have it diagnosed, two people had to come to completely uninstall it. I have never had a GE product perform SO poorly. If I could give no stars, I would

Some problems.

Have had these ovens several months. Several things are different than with my old ones. These cook slower, take longer to pre-heat, and there is a great difference in the heat at the top VS the bottom.
Biggest complaint is you can't use any kind of liner – even aluminum foil--
to keep your oven bottom clean. Big pain!

You Can't Go Wrong With This Unit

We just remodeled our kitchen and replaced all our White GE Profile Appliances (which were 14 yrs old) with new SS Profile units. This double oven needed a extra 1/4" at the bottom, but that was not a issue. We really like the convection feature. Also, it does not run as "hot" as the previous model. It pulls less amps which is great. We are very satisfied with this unit and would repurchase again.

Nice WiFi oven, but clunky controls

Oven has nice appearance, heats rapidly, no visible coils, and GE app works to control it. The app also interfaces with Amazon's Alexa for voice control (but only if it is on, or the Remote Ready button is on). Despite being high-tech in the wireless sense, the manual touchpad controls are not intuitive for things like time delay, or even setting the timer....isn't clear when it is just going (the timer has hours and minutes, no seconds, so you can't tell if it is ticking down unless you wait at least a minute), or you need to touch a start button. Would have been nice to have more information-rich, high res LCD screen than old-fashioned LED numbers.
Oven is fairly quiet, but it clicks a lot (a relay?) as it self-adjusts the heating to keep temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!
