Bought the Brother DSmobile 620 and it does a rock solid job. It's a no-frills portable scanner that is very reliable. The paper feed guiders are especially useful; simple and intuitive. A great product at a good price!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, and not so great!

Scanner is quiet; runs just fine, lightweight, good looking. The slider improvement to the document insertion port (over the DS Mobile 610) is a good idea.
It has a few bugs in it, which I'm sure Brothers will work out. I don't know if it is a software issue, or a combination hardware/software issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scanner good/software bad

The scanner works flawlessly. Good clarity and color. I bought BR Receipts program from Brother. It scans receipts but does not datafill the correct amounts in the database. Sometimes it doesn't fill in anything. Worked with Brother Techs. They could not after many wasted sessions make it work any better. I asked for the money back. It is not much but is the principal. They have not done so yet after months. I will never purchase brother products again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really great product!

I have scanned 350 documents so far, both color and black and white. It is very efficient and the quality of the duplicate is very good. It is easy to use, quick, quiet and the only cautionary thing I have to say is-use the paper guides as directed, otherwise, your items will not feed correctly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great...until it isn't recognized correctly

This scanner was perfect for my needs. Portable and only required a USB connection. Then one day, perhaps after a Windows update, Windows sees it as a removable drive. NOTHING on Brother's site or through Google searches gives any indication of a solution. Tried on 2 separate Win10 computers that I had previously used the scanner with and neither detects the camera properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A scanner worth owning

The portability and features make this a scanner you'll want to own. Unlike printers that can't be lugged around, the DSmobile 620 can used on any device with a USB port. The many features is what surprised me. From a menu that can choose from several formats (including one that puts all your pages into one Adobe document), to a manager that will do many things including sending it to your printer or e-mail, to an automatic detection of your sheet to copy it to a pre-designated folder.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Makes Decent Copys

I find the software a bit difficult to figure out. I had a previous model DS600 which I liked the software much better.
This model does color which I like. I only bought this because Brother did not produce a driver for Windows 10 on the DS600. I hope the DS620 will not be outdated as fast as the DS600.
