I love the new dishwasher. It is very quiet and cleans very well. When it was installed, they didn't install from the quartz countertop, but on the sides, and it could slide back a couple of more inches. I'm sure it would be even quieter. I need to get my husband to get the correct bracket. Not sure why the installers don't come with the correct bracket.

Exceptionally Quiet

We are very pleased with our GE Dishwasher. It is so quiet. Our Kitchen and living room are side by side with no barrier walls. We can watch TV with the dishwasher in operation without distraction or having to turn up the TV. Dishwasher has far exceeded our expectations. Drop down upper tray is also a plus.

Took a bit to install, but that first run is amazing. The brand new fridge (also a slate GE) is actually louder. Tons of room for your kitchenware.

Spacious and quiet!

I bought this and installed it last week--first install for a dishwasher for this mother of 2. It took more time than i anticipated, but that was due to my lack of experience. The description says it doesn't come a drain hose but it does, so don't buy one.
This DW is so quiet, i can watch tv and hear every conversation.

GE made use of the space--my old DW was cramped and the dinner plates had to be perfectly placed or tilted to avoid being hit by the washer mechanism. This one has an adjustable top rack but, my plates have 2" room without lifting it up. We can put 2x the amount in this dw vs. my old!
Cleans well and has plenty of settings--upper or lower zones only, drying settings, heavy vs light cleaning. Love the flush mount and slate color!! Finally, a dishwasher I love!

I bought this dishwasher for a new house and am very happy with it. It has excellent washing capabilities, and the slate look is sophisticated and clean.

Does not clean as expected

We have had this dishwasher for a couple of months. I have read the manual, tried different arrangements and nothing seems to help. The top rack does not get clean. I don't even think the top rack sprayers really work. I have tried lowering the rack which helps because it is closer to the bottom. With a brand new dishwasher there should be ZERO issues in how it cleans. I have had dinosaur aged ones that worked far better than this. I always have to run the dishwasher on the highest setting to get my dishes clean on the bottom, this lasts for over 3 hours. How is that energy efficient? I am pretty disappointed and I will be calling to have it serviced, which should not be needed after only two months! I have now coming and reading the bad reviews this does seem to be an issue with this model. Very disappointing!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
