Bought this in February. American made should be problem free. Just the opposite. Had it worked on three times since February. Worry constantly.

GE's the best but not this dishwasher!

We have bought GE appliance for over 25 years and keep coming back each time we need another appliance. However, this dishwasher I cannot recommend. Its does not clean or dry the dishes no matter what the setting is. It sometimes will not dissolve the Cascade cleaning pod. We have gone thru the trouble shooting section and has been told it is installed correctly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far so good. This unit is quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. It's easy to load and unload as well.

Does not clean thoroughly

If I do not wash dishes in the sink first they do not come out clean in the dishwasher....my previous dishwasher (different brand) did not require this scrubbing before going into the dishwasher. Also the top rack does not pull out completely (it jams leaving about 5 inches in the machine, making it difficult to put dishes in or take them out)
