Quiet operation

The washing cycles seem longer than standard. The rolling mechanism for the lower basket is poor and does not roll.

Good enough

Washes good, top drawer is spring loaded and constantly retreats when I'm unloading it, is annoying, should have a locking snap device.

Extremely Quiet

The biggest surprise with this unit was just how quiet it is - it in just about inaudible once turned on, even if you stay in the kitchen while it is running. If you leave the room, you will not hear it. The controls on top of the door are easy to set and we found that when setting the length of the cycle or the optimal temperature, or even adding the rinse agent (which you do need), it helps to know the hardness/softness of the water in your area. Once we checked that and set the dishwasher, it cleaned all the dishes/pots/pans very well. The slate color is a great match for our kitchen, it is not too dark - we like the gray hue. Without the controls on the front of the door, it looks very sleek and it's not obvious that it's a dishwasher. Very nice design. We purchased this to replace a GE profile dishwasher that was about 10 years old and it fit perfectly into the previous space with zero modification.

Leaks and Reeks!
on March 31, 2016

Installed 2 months ago. Door leaks about every 4 washes. Had service tech come out and he found nothing wrong. It continues to leak every 4/5 cycles. The washer also smells horrific. From the 4th wash it has smelled horrible if you do not run daily. Technician said installation was correct and its due to the low water use on this new model. The smell clears out the kitchen if we open the washer door. I truly can't describe how bad this thing stinks. Love the look, hate the smell and water leaking onto my new hardwood floors.

Chopstick holders? Really?!?!
on April 7, 2016

This dishwasher is very disappointing. We chose it as we wanted slate appliances and the price point fit our budget. The glasses slide around on the top and our plates/bowls don't fit well. There is however a spot for chopsticks. It's marked "chopsticks". Seriously?? I can tell this was not designed by Americans. I wish we had gone to see this on display before buying. There is an incredible amount of space wasted with this inefficient design.
