Cleans & dries very well, though is not as quiet as we had hoped it would be.
Control panel is too dark...it would be more user friendly if it was in a lighter color.

We purchased this dishwasher in July and had it installed last week. On it's first use my wife had to bend down close to it to hear if it was even running. We have had different dishwashers over the years, but we have never had one this quiet before. It also has done a fantastic job so far. VERY HIGHLY recommend this dishwasher.

I love my new dishwasher. I've been using it for over a month and it works great. It's so quiet. I do recommend a high quality detergent. I have tried off brands, and I believe it does make a difference on how well the dishwasher works.

Wanted slate appliances

We wanted all slate appliances, GE was the only company who offered them, so we had no choice in what we could buy. The door latch was loose and after countless frustrating hours trying to figure out why it wouldn't start, we adjusted it and now it works just fine. It is quiet, but not as quiet as I was hoping for. My dishes come out with food particles on them most of the time and require rewashing or hand washing to remove it. Not sure if it's the dishwasher or that we have well water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this dishwasher a few months a go. Very hard to get the door to close. Have to put only light dishware on top. Dinner plates and etc. on the bottom. Does not hold as much as my old one and harder to load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
