I battle this thing every time I do dishes

I did my research on all the new appliances we chose for our new home. Ready hundreds of reviews. I am very disappointed in this washer. We always rinse/soak our dishes before putting them in the washer, and unless you run it in the Heavy Duty setting they don't get clean. Problem with the Heavy Duty setting is it takes about 3.5 hrs to wash and dry the dishes....are you kidding me? How is that energy efficient? Also, the door never wants to stay latched, keeps popping open mid cycle and beeping constantly. I miss my old washer and wish I could trade this one for that old one... :-(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet with a lot of nice features

We've had this dishwasher for a few months now and over all have been very happy with it. I especially like the ability to raise and lower the top rack. My biggest complaint, which is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is that it doesn't do the greatest job at cleaning tall glasses. Almost every time we wash a load of dishes with glasses, bits of food particles get shot up into the glasses by the jets and stick to the inside as they dry. We've resorted to leaving them out of the washer and just washing them by hand separately because the food particles make it harder to clean after. That aside, very nice dishwasher.

Good looking; pretty quiet. I was surprised I here the water drain, but then again the drain hose under my sink is not insulated. Dishwasher itself is very quiet. Nice interior and pretty handy to load....all the right rack features and roomy.

Best washer ever!

I have been using this slate colored dishwasher for about 1 1/2 years and I absolutely love it! The slate color is wonderful because it doesn't show fingerprints.
It really cleans the dishes, is the most quiet dishwasher I have ever had- and I have had 4 in the past 13 years! All of them were junk- very loud, didn't clean well had to be serviced, the racks rusted in a few months and 1 even caught on fire!
This one is designed well and can steam the dishes if they are really dirty- although I really haven't had to use this because the dishes are always clean. I have an open floor plan and this washer cannot be heard at all-I have to go check to see if it running!

Lots of Options!

This has been a bit of a challenge. I don't think I have found the "right combination" that works for us. I am fine tuning this. It is VERY quiet and that was #1 importance to us. You have to really listen to know it is "on".
