Just replaced an older GE model with this gdt580smfes and am very impressed with how quiet and how well this dishwasher works!

nice dishwasher

it cleans my dishes pretty well. We are chinese so our dishes are more greasy. The machine does a very nice job.
The only thing that bothers me is the lower rack which we used often is not flexible enough to hold our bowls. It spend me lot of time to place and organize the dishes to the machine every day. And there is no place to put chopsticks. I have to bought another box to put the chopsticks.
But overall, it set me free in washing dishes by hand and does a very nice job. I am happy that I bought this machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I still have to remind myself that I do not need to "clean" the dishes before I load them, even if I am not running a cycle for another day or so.

Dishes still dirty

Very long wash cycle, dishes are still dirty after washing, uneven loading racks really limit loading capacity
