2nd GE slate dishwasher I have purchased. Had one in our last house and when we moved we bought another! Looks great and it is quiet.

I haven't had it long, but so far I love it. It gleams in my kitchen like a jewelry box. It's beautiful, it's incredibly quiet, it "feels" quality and it cleans great. I got the slate color because stainless is IMHO way too hard to clean and keep up. (My husband touches everything with hummus-smeared fingers.) It's a great color -- truly slate-colored, with just that bit of a smoky purple that makes it match anything. And it cleans right up.

My last dishwasher was loud and clunky, tipped forward when loaded, and barely did more than spray my dishes with soapy water. My new GE is quiet, efficient, and my dishes come out sparkling!

We like the suite of appliances just fine, but needing service on dishwasher less than 1 year old. Does not fill with water.
