Poor performance

We purchased this product in October. We have already had to call the service department to work on it and a part was added . The tech stated that this is a common problem and they have to install this frequently. He also stated that the hot water needs to be run in the sink until hot before using and the dishes may still not come clean and that the soap will not always dissolve , which we constantly have a problem with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LOVE THE WAY THAT WHEN FIRST OPENED ITS SHINEY INTERIOR THE WAY IT BEEPS WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED THE CONTROL PANEL IS HIDDEN FLAT ON THE TOP OF THE DOOR MANY CLEANING OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM AND THE CLEANING IS IMPECABLE CLEANING THE PANS COME OUT AS CLEAN AS THE DISHES I HAVENT HAD TO REWASH ANYTHING SINCE IVE HAD IT ......I LOVE MY DISHWASHER

Best Dishwasher Ever!!

I have had a dishwasher in my home for almost 40 years. I have never seen one clean so well. It was installed right over a week ago, and I have ran it several times with different soil levels on dishes with the same Cascade I have used. Only one thing did not get fully clean but it was REALLY bad, thick and stuck on. But many other things that my past dishwasher could not remove it cleaned excellent! It dries the dishes very well, if you leave it to sit for long time it will condense some on top of cups, but not too bad, IMO. Overall VERY quiet, but it does have a high pitched sound to it. The shelving is very good!! Tines are reasonable height and seem coated well, and the upper rack is stepped (like stairs right to left) to where you can put tall things on the left side of the bottom rack, like a pizza pan, that is something no dishwasher I have owned has been able to do. The Frigidaire I had, the tines starting rusting right away, and the top rack kept falling off. This GE feels more solidly built. So far I am VERY happy with my purchase!!
