Have run a couple of loads through and am happy with the performance. Motor has a high, whiney sound. Kind of annoying.

So QUIET!

My husband installed this dishwasher just over a week ago and with a family of 5, we've gotten a good bit of use out of it already. I cannot get over just how quiet this dishwasher is! There's a slight whirring of the motor that you can hear if the house is quiet, but it doesn't bother me one bit. The dishes come out so clean and dry. Our last dishwasher was loud and left the dishes almost soaking wet. It takes a little longer to for a normal wash than I was used to, but it's worth it.

Design flaws

Design flaw. Any upward lift on door and the hinge slips out of bracket during installation- common problem repairman says. Unless repaired immediately will destroy hinge and metal tub shroud. Not covered by warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just had dishwasher installed and ran a test load. Unit is extremely quiet and cleans wonderfully. Looks fantastic and is a super ge replacement for a GE dishwasher I've had for 27 years.

So quiet!!!

Have only had this dishwasher a couple of weeks now. I have used it several times and love the adjustable divider's in the bottom rack. They can lay down to give you room for the bigger bowls or what ever may not fit in the rack divider's. The silverware holder has 3 compartments with lids that have slits for the silverware, you can use them or lift the lids up. The top rack has so much room for the taller glasses and mugs absolutely love it. It also has flaps that can keep smaller items in place. I do wish it didn't have plastic parts that are very important to the performance of the dishwasher but it does. The sprayers are plastic and the clip to keep the door close is also. I will not close my door completely until I am ready to wash the dishes because I am afraid it will break. : ( I have only had a dish come out once that didn't come clean not sure why, hoping just the way I loaded it. This dishwasher is super super quiet. Way to go GE!! Looking forward to keeping this appliance for years hope it holds up to my expectations.
