High whining sound and soap residue

We have had the dishwasher for about a month and every time we run it on the normal cycle it has a high whining sound while in operation. Also, soap residue from dry powder left on inside of glasses.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door Problems

When I saw this dishwasher after it was installed, it was very obvious the door was not closing correctly. After the problem was supposedly fixed, I now have a door that will not seal correctly and moisture on the lower part inside the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Quiet!

After purchasing this product, we were amazed at how quiet the cycle runs. We can easily run the loads at night without any sleep disturbance! The only thing it has trouble cleaning are dishes that have dried oatmeal or other starchy foods. Pre-rinse these items and you are good to go.

Love my new GE

Easy installation, I did it myself. Very quiet running and loads of features. Got a greasgreast price at Lowes. This is a definite buy.

Didn't meet my expectations

We previously owned a GE dishwasher that was 20 years old and expected this dishwasher to work the same or better than that one. While this dishwasher is very quiet, it doesn't clean dishes as well as the other one we owned, plus the layout of the shelves/tines makes it difficult to fit dishes efficiently (we can't fit as many dishes per load). I also don't like that once you open the door after a load is cleaned, the green "clean" light goes off, so unless the clean dishes are emptied right away (we don't always have time for that), other family members end up adding dirty dishes to the clean load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
