Love the programming features that save on energy. So quiet, too, that I have to touch the door to feel it hum.
Very attractive inside and out design. Beautiful new slate color that complements and updates our kitchen.

Horrible closure

This dishwasher is attractive and sleek. Sadly, the closure on it is a diamond-shaped plastic that can sometimes seem not to want to close well, causing an error message or chime.
I like the look but, for the first time ever, have to think about whether my dishwasher will work, as opposed to just closing it, turning it on and coming back to clean dishes.
I would highly recommend not buying this dishwasher unless there is a design change to make this dishwasher something you don't have to think about, like dishwasher were 40 years ago.

Very Quiet!

Our kitchen is open to the living room so it's important that the dishwasher is quiet and this GE lives up to that. It was easy to install also. My only negative is that sometimes a few pieces of silverware doesn't come out clean. Love the steam option too.

Good dishwasher and very quiet

Bought a suite of Slate GE appliances for the kitchen. Dishwasher needed a new gasket to stop the door leak. Once that was corrected the dishwasher is quiet and very efficient using very little water. The drying feature leaves a little to be desired as it builds humidity in the cabinet which does not lend itself to drying cups and glasses.
I would recommend this to a friend!
