Quiet, versatile to fill, love the slate color.

I prefer silverware not on the door, so was looking for that feature, along with the slate color and quiet running. This model holds a lot. For an older person, they may want to consider putting it on a pedestal--with the door down, it seems very low to the floor. I don't mind, just mentioning it. It doesn't have a ton of features, but I really only need the basic ones; less to sort through when you pick what cycle to run. The top level is fairly movable to allow for wider based glassware, and has enough height to fit tall cups. Overall, I'm very pleased. Our old kitchen was gutted, so I researched a lot before settling with GE which has local service if needed, and offered the slate color which I loved.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful machine

Installed June 2016; I LOVE IT, all settings are very easy and it has an array of them for any dirty dish needing a good cleaning, to a gentle washing. Always come out clean and spot free (I use Cascade products).

great new dishwasher

Purchased and installed this dishwasher with the slate grey finish. The cycles are numerous to choose from. The quietness this model provides is a substantial upgrade from our previous model. I kept the tubing from the previous dishwasher we had. The trim pieces on the sides and top were trimmed to fit our opening in the cabinets. The GE delivery team was prompt and professional. I wish we had opted for the Profile version of this to qualify for the available rebate at the time.

Best. Dishwasher. Ever.

This is simply the best dishwasheri have ever had the pleasure of using! I love how I can split the utensil holder! Actually turn one the small ones sideways on the top rack to wash small items that might otherwise fall through (incidentally, that is how I broke our previous machine). I love the adjustable height for the top rack, and it is simply genius to be able to wash each rack individually! The only negative thing is that it is a little difficult to pour rinse aid into the hole. The cycles last about four hours which is on par for what our last (non-efficient, very noisy) dishwasher took. When washing only the top rack, it is completely silent; washing both racks, I hear a little sound, but running the kitchen sink would be comparatively louder, so there is no complaint there! Using this really is a pleasure!
