For the most part I really love this dishwasher. It is very stylish and looks great in my kitchen! I really enjoy all the features of it, including independent top and bottom cycles, the steam feature, and as well as the adjustable prongs. The one thing I am not too fond of is that it doesn't always dry the dishes very well. I find myself leaving the door open after a cycle is complete to let it air dry. Overall I would recommend this to anyone!

so far so good on this dishwasher, takes quite a while to run a cycle and isn't super quiet but the dishes come out clean. I think we have had it about 3 months and still trying to figure out how to load it the best since we have a few different sets of dishes that does complicate the matter. the top rack is nice and easy to adjust up/down as needed. Overall biggest complaint is the racks but dishes come out clean so i'm happy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product has been a great investment for us. We have enjoyed the fact that it gets all of our dishes washed well. The only things that I would complain about is the fact that there is no lock on the appliance, the only reason that I think this would be an asset, is because our little busy boy loves to open the dishwasher when it is running or not.
Love the slate look, it is so much easier to keep clean then stainless steel appliances.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dishwasher now has a whining noise

I purchased this dishwasher last March. After a few months it started dripping and ruined a floor for me. Now it has a whining noise which seems to come from the motor as it washes. It initially was very quiet.

LOVE my happy dishwasher

After trying out many different brands of dishwashers over the years and reading a lot of research online, I decided to try out a GE. I've been using my dishwasher daily for four months and have yet to unload a dirty dish! Dry, stuck-on food, and messy crock-pots are no match for this cleaning machine. It has a very large capacity, I can cram it full of dishes and they all still come out clean. I really like the smudge-proof yet attractive appearance and that the controls are hidden along the top of the machine door. The controls and options seemed a little overwhelming at first, however I quickly caught on after the first load and really feel it is an energy saver. The best added bonus: when the cycle is complete my dishwasher beeps a happy tune-I think I'll go find some more dishes to wash!
