Works and cleans great. Very quiet. Holds a lot of dishes. However, the door falls all the way to the floor and it is awkward to use. I would think someone with back problems would find this product difficult to close. Would help if there was a handle on the inside of the dishwasher as well as the outside.

Quiet and effective

My dishwasher was installed in May 2014 and I love it. It replaced another GE that had seen better days. (The old one worked well, but our hard water had rusted the racks.) The new GE is super-quiet and cleans wonderfully, although it does take longer. I really like the slate finish, too.

Love this dishwasher!

We've had this dishwasher for nearly two months and use it daily. We couldn't be happier with it. It is spacious and always cleans perfectly each time. The most significant thing is how quiet this dishwasher is, we can't hear it running!

Poor cleanng - limited versatility

This dishwasher is not as versatile as others I have owed. The limited racks and rack spacing make it difficult to load efficiently, resulting in wasted space. Given this, you would think it would clean better. Not so. Cleaning is only fair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glad we decided to buy GE. The dishwasher works very well, is very quiet and I love being able to select either the to or the bottom for a wash rather than having to wait until both areas are full to run a load.
