Wonderful performance!

We just purchased this dishwasher last week. Today we loaded up the dirty dishes, and ran the dishwasher. I had to put my ear up to the dishwasher to be sure that it was running, it is that quiet. We bought all new appliances in the GE Slate finish and they look beautiful. I don't like stainless steel and this is a nice alternative.
I would recommend this to a friend!

EXTREMELY QUIET!!!

I just had this dishwasher installed and ran my first cycle. It is so quiet and the slate is just beautiful. The controls are easy to use and my dishes are sparkling. With a family of six, I needed something to hold a lot of dishes which this does easily and love that the top rack lowers to fit the tall glasses like wine glasses. The install was a little painful though, the bolts supplied to attach to the cabinets weren't long enough and had to buy new water line hose with an elbow.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A quiet and efficient dishwasher!

Love love love my new dishwasher, it is so quiet and cleans the dishes so well. We love the hidden controls no more grand babies playing with the buttons. Silverware trays really make sure all utensils stay upright and get clean. Proud to buy American made.

The appliances look great!! I bought the slate which is much easier to keep clean than stainless and looks modern. The appliances work great and are designed well. I can't even hear the dishwasher when I am right next to it.

Poor washing

I like this dishwasher, and it looks good near its matching fridge, but it really doesn't hold as much as it seemed it would, it takes 271 minutes (that's 4.5 HOURS!) to run a heavy, steamed, and sanitized load, it's not as quiet as I would like it to be, it leaves spots on my dishes - even with the rinse aid, and after loading my rinsed dishes from the sink, the accumulated drip water on the inside of the door (water that has dripped off the dishes as I load them) leaks on the right side (about 2 cups' worth) all over my floor, which is a real bother to have to clean up. I would not buy this model again.

Very disappointed

Less than three years old - problem occured after the warranty period. Used approx 1X/week. Silver strip at top edge of door that encases console pad is broken. Certainly has not had rough treatment. This is poor quality and/or workmanship in my opinion which was not my expectation w/ GE products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken After one year gentle use!

Door wont latch and probably because of that display is not working! Tried to unplug for 30 minutes.Didnt work
