Have had the unit for 4 months, it cleans well and is very quiet. The quietness was the main factor in purchasing this model. Very satisfied and recommend it to others.

The reason it didn't get 5 stars is because I had to have the GE repairman come out because the door wouldn't stay closed. He changed out the hinges and gaskets. Very slick...shouldn't have waited so long to call him!

GE Slate dishwasher

It goes through the whole rinse and wash cycle with no problem- just leaks after the drying chcle is complete. I need to future out why, before it ruins my new wood flooring.

Ultra quiet, high capacity dishwasher

Top controls are great, just wish it also had top loading for dishwasher fluid. I would have given this 5 stars, but the dishwasher fluid intake sometimes pops open after I close the dishwasher. Not sure if this is a common defect with this model or just limited to mine, but it leaves a mess when it happens - not cool.
I would recommend this to a friend!
