Broke for the second time!

I got lucky the first time it was still under the 1 year warranty. The dishwasher buttons stopped working after 4 months of use. Got that fixed and the technician told me water goes inside the hidden buttons easily due to buttons being on top. I took his advice and have since placed a towel over it to prevent damage. Now it's 2 years later no warranty, and with little use the water somehow got inside the buttons control area and now none of the buttons function.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very low quality construction

Silver colored trim along the top edge is constructed of plastic that breaks very easily. Have glued the trim back in place multiple times with several breaks. According to GE appliance parts can’t order just the trim; have to order new control module!! Very frustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so pleased with our purchase. It is the quietest dishwaser we have ever owned. The dishes are extremely clean and we love the slate color. It looks so modern and clean. No fingerprints!!!!

I love how quiet this dishwasher is. The first few times I used it I wasn't sure if it was working because I couldn't hear it! I like how the top rack can be adjusted down for larger items. All of my dishes are spotless after washing.
