I bought this along with 3 other GE appliances; I am very pleased. The store where I bought this item sent it as a replacement when I was told the first dishwasher's motherboard would take 3 mos. to replace. Ironically, the new dishwasher was installed and the motherboard for the old one arrived simultaneously.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Only had it running a few days, so far good dishwasher. Surprised it takes 3.5 hours on normal wash cycle though with a sani rinse.

The new slate color is beautiful and doesn't leave prints! Very quiet dishwasher! Purchased this model to get the silverware tray on the inside-side of the unit. I think they get cleaned better than the in-the-door models. Very roomy, small cookie sheets and even my larger jelly roll pan fits if you put it along the side! WOW! Totally happy with our purchase! Also purchased a french door fridge that we love!

GE Slate Dishwasher with Hidden Controls

My wife & I replaced our whole kitchen appliance suite with the new GE "Slate" color. We are very pleased with the appearance. I only gave this dishwasher a 4 out of 5 rating because it was very difficult to install as there is not alot of hand space underneath to make all the connections & if you have stone counter tops the side anchoring option is also very difficult - the top rack should be removable. I am not real crazy about the loading methods especially the top rack. Have only had for a few weeks and it does clean very well and has some great cleaning options. Suggest you pay for installation!

Love the Look and the Flexibility

I purchased this in late October and have been using it about 3x/week since it was installed during the first of November. The slate finish is GORGEOUS in my kitchen. This dishwasher is so quiet compared to our old one that we sometimes forget it is on and open the door. Oops! It gets our dishes more clean than the old GE Profile and I love the flexibility in how I can place my dishes in this new one. I used to struggle in my sink with large stock pots...which now fit in the dishwasher easily. LOVE this product!!!!
