Love this dishwasher---quiet and looks great!

We replaced our old appliances with GE Slate including this dishwasher. I was hesitant about the utensil basket on the side but it has not been a problem to reach it easily. The slate finish is gorgeous and easy to keep clean. Stainless accent handle looks great. I thought I might not like the control panel on the top where it is slightly hidden from view when closed. Now that I see there is a small indicator light by the handle to show when the cycle is completed, that solved my concerns. This dishwasher runs very quietly. My husband installed this but it took longer than we expected. No problems.....just lots of steps. I would pay for someone to install this next time. Controls are easy to use. Love it.

Pretty and quiet

After much research we have had this dishwasher for over a month and love it. The color is great. A nice compromise from stainless (a lot of upkeep to keep is pretty) and dark black or stark white. It is very quiet! Does a great job getting the dishes clean.

Not only does this dishwasher look great, but it's so quiet and cleans great! Love it!! I'm anxious to change out my other outdated appliances to the Slate collection.

Quiet Dishwasher and Amazing cleaner

This dishwasher is so quiet. I tested out its cleaning capability but not rinsing any of my dishes prior to loading the dishwasher and they all came out sparkling. I love the feature that I can turn off heat drying; it helps me save money on my electrical bill.

Great new appliance -- Poor install instructions

We chose this product to match our new GE range. The stainless interior and extremely low noise levels were a definite plus. One issue with the appliance were the installation instructions and the supplied parts. The 90 degree elbow should have been included as is absolutely required for installation. Additionally the order of installation makes finishing the connections overly difficult. Leveling the dishwasher reveals a design flaw in that the rear adjustable feet are not accessible when the dishwasher is in place.

There are several models on the market and we went with this one because it was easy to load and the controls were easy to read. It's a very quiet unit, and cleans very well.
