Motor contiunes to run after a complete clean cycl

The motor continues to hum after the green light shows that it has finished cleaning. It will continuew to hum until I open the door. I thought there was malfunction with the dishwasher so I had it replaced since it was brand new. The new dishwasher is doing it too. Is this normal? My previous dishwasher would completely stop when it was clean. There was no humming afterwards.

Poor manufacturing quality

We purchased this model and had it installed-- the installer ran it through a test cycle and determined the pump had a loose screw in it. The machine was replaced with another machine - same model- and it had a warped door. It was taken out, and we bought another brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher is very quite and has the controls hidden on the top of the loading door. This is an excellent feature as it prevents my 18 mo. old grandson from playing with settings. Looks great and love the stainless interior.
