Easy to install for the first time

Does exactly as promised, we are very happy with our new dishwasher. If it could put away the dishes I would give it higher marks.

Love This Dishwasher!

This dishwasher is miles ahead of my old one. The steam feature lets me put pans with baked- on dirt in without scrubbing, and they come out perfectly clean. The adjustable tines on the lower rack provide very stable placement for my plates, and the upper rack loads very well for small bowls. I wish I'd purchased this years ago!

Nice unit if it were about $300 cheaper.
Pros: Top rack on bearings is great rolls so nice
Has some nice wash cycles that cheaper machines don't have.

Cons: Bottom rack is same quality as expected at a much lower price point. Wheels are plastic and flop around failing to keep the bottom rack rolling smoothly.
The door acts as the rail for the bottom rack when it is pulled out. But the door doesn't align with the rail in the cabinet. Causes wheels from bottom rack to hit the edge of the door and abruptly stop. The bottom rack has to be lifted to complete the transition to the door.
Energy save cycle only works when unit is lightly loaded, 50% or less.
Doesn't have enough space for silverware.

Solid USA Built Dishwaher that CLEANS!

I just bought this USA built GE dishwasher and am very pleased with it. It is a little smaller that my former dishwasher but it cleans very well. Real quiet too! I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a moderately priced dishwasher with key features to clean your dishes.....stainless steel tub, multi-mode cleaning, zone selection, and food disposal.

I have used this dishwasher since June and it has performed well. It's quiet and gets the dishes clean. However, the wash cycle is longer than on my previous GE dishwasher

Control cooling fan runs for hours.. Lots of idle time during cycle, extends wash time while it's, (what ? thinking ?). Overall it does what it should.

After a catastrophic failure on a top-rated 2.5 yr old (and much more expensive) dishwasher I decided to replace with a GE hoping for something reliable over the long haul. Time will tell... So far so good. Very quiet, like the signals. Some food residue if you load it really full and weight of door (presumably the whole product) is much lighter. From a style standpoint, would prefer to not have the GE logo prominent on the front..many others put in less obvious place.
I would recommend this to a friend!
