Really quiet

I replaced all of my appliances with GE stainless steel. This dishwasher cleans well and is so quiet. I like stainless interior which is spacious and offers options for loading. Looks great, too. Wish it had a "rinse" cycle.

Very quiet

This is super quiet compared to our past dishwasher. I think some improvements could be made to the layout of the bottom rack. It doesn't hold small plates great - so if you have small kids, it might be a little awkward to load during those younger years.

Bought a month ago. So far I am satisfied with it. Interior hardware looks cheap. I don't know how long it will last mechanically. Previous GE lasted 20 years then started showing rust signs at the external bottom steel parts, but it was still working. Rust resistance parts are recommended.

Generally a good machine

Bought this as a replacement for 31 y.o. unit. Pros: Chrome exterior fits in well with our new kitchen decor. Controls are well placed and simple enough to use while also flexible; very quiet machine. Cons: rolling tray prongs aren't well suited for my wife's heavy 'rustic' style dishes; cutlery holder is too elongated and placed too far back to be convenient (we are using holder from previous dishwasher).

Purchased this several months ago and it is by far the most quiet dishwasher we've owned. A far superior dishwasher than those of a higher price category. Efficient water & electric usage and best of all the dishes sparkle with cleanliness once done! Love this dishwasher!

Nice and quiet

Installed this unit about a month ago and have been using it 1-2 times per week. I love how quiet it is. Our old unit was about 15 years old. With our open floor plan, we'd have to wait for the kids to go to sleep and turn the TV volume way up. No more! It's unfortunate we waited this long!
