After much research I bought the GE. I like it, but, my dinner plates won't stand up straight because the tines that support the dishes are too short. The dinner dishes constantly slump over and this will eventually cause the tines to break. I didn't have this problem with my 16 year old dishwasher and it's very frustrating. Salad plates are fine, dinner plates are a no-no. My fear is that when the tines do break, I'll end up with rust inside.

I bought this four months ago and have very pleased with its performance. Very quiet and dishes come out clean and spotless. GE is only brand dishwasher I've ever owened and this is the best by far. I would have given it five stars if cooking utensils didn't block the middle spray are even with the upper rack raised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The machine is very quiet and although we haven't had it more than a couple of days, It does a great cleaning job.

Nice looks, average performance

We really liked the look of the door and the controls, and in the store the rack looked great. In use we find that the rack is difficult to load, plate and bowls don't fit easily, and we've broken three glasses on the top rack because they slide so easily. Lesson learned, we now use the tines for all glasses to secure them. Was performance of silverware is better than our previous machine, glasses about the same, but plates and bowls not as good. Overall we find that we load this machine with 50-75% of the plates and bowls that we used to load with the previous machine
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Brand New- Very Happy

Received our new dishwasher a few days ago and so far super happy with the look, the fit, and the function. It is installed nearly flush with our cabinets so only the handle sticks out and it's not terribly deep which is great. I've used stainless steel cleaner on the door and it works easily to clean marks. The upper/lower only wash is great and the heat dry really dries! Looking forward to seeing how it continues to perform over the next few years and trying all the additional (easy to use) settings.

Maybe because my old dishwasher was the epitome of "old" but this new dishwasher works fantastic! Sleek design inside and out. I can't be happier with our purchase.

Bought it 4 mos ago. Cleans so much better than the previous Samsung. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's a little noisier than I expected. Not the entire time it operates just during part of the cycle. More of an annoyance than an issue. We run it at night anyway. Still very glad we got it.
