I was remodeling and looked at many different brands when a GE employee suggested I look at GE brand, whereas I purchased A GDT580SSFSS dishwasher, Great buy, door is hard to close, but may be because of the installation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I find the loading of cutlery annoying. Wish the containers were on the front rather than on side. Don't like having to run water in the sink until very hot. Can't load tall items like pot covers in front on the right side, which results in unsatisfactory operation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this dishwasher!

I can't say enough about this dishwasher. I've had dishwashers in the past but never like this one. It is so quiet that you don't even know it's running. My dishes are so clean and with the steam function, I no longer need to soak and hand wash my casserole dishes or roasting pans. Also, the top rack adjusts so you have the room for larger pans. The bottom rack has adjustable prongs for large salad bowls. I could go on and on about this wonderful product and how everything comes out so clean but I figure I'd end up running out of room! I researched dishwashers for weeks before I decided on this one. You won't be disappointed if you purchase it!

I like all the features and you can actually sit in the kitchen and have conversations because it's so quite. It looks good with all the GE appliances I bought for the remodel
