Love/hate relationship

Bought this dishwasher 2-3 years ago and was really happy with it until last week when it stopped working. We're pretty sure the circuit board is the issue because it freezes shortly after we push the start button - the washer stops, no other buttons will respond, etc. It won't properly start a cycle at all. We even have to flip off the power switch to the outlet (usually multiple times) and basically pray to get it started. So frustrating, especially because it's still so new! I've really been happy with everything else about it but it not working is a major problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderfully Quiet - to us

I great upgrade for our kitchen. Read reviews and decided this is the one to try. Noting that we have an island in front of it. The noise level was really good. We could run it with guests,having a social get together and really didn't notice it. Also a bed room is next to the kitchen and I will say is is a huge change from our old DW.
Now the cleaning: Again, very delighted/ surprised to find that is does an excellent job using a lot less water than our old DW. In my book *****

Lower spray arm broke twice in a year

The dishwasher came with the new home as part of the builder package for the new development. Since day one you could see residues after every cycle. The dishes were never completely clean, not even by pre washing the dishes. We tried different brands of detergent, added a whole house water softener as recommended by customer service and still residues continued to build up. The lower spray arm was replaced twice in the first year and now is broken again. Do not recommend

I've owned this dishwasher 2 1/2 years and I am very pleased with my purchase. One reason I chose this model was for the shorter cycle time. The normal cycle I use is 123 minutes long and this includes the time for heated dry. This normal cycle is usually all I need and does a fine job of cleaning and drying the dishes.
This model is in so quiet I still find myself sometimes putting my ear to it to determine if it is running. Despite the low noise factor it cleans exceptionally well. I'll occasionally use the steam feature if I have dried on food. I don't know if this is necessary, but the dishes always come out clean.
I've used the sanitize cycle and at first I worried that it would melt or disfigure my plastic items, but that has not been a problem.
The only thing on this dishwasher I would complain about is the configuration of the prongs on the racks. I wish there were more rows of prongs. I feel that because of the design of the racks I can't fit as many dishes as other models. This applies to both top and bottom racks.
My final comment is about how well the dishwasher dries the dishes. I hear a lot of complaints from friends about how poorly their new dishwashers dry. I am pleased to report that this model does a very good job of drying my dishes, both glass and plastic items.
Overall I am pleased with my purchase and plan on keeping the unit a long time.
